Overview
According to the American Dietetic Association's Web site, “Dietetics is the science and art of applying the principles of food and nutrition to health.”
PLNU offers a major in dietetics through the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, leading to a B.S. degree. If you major in dietetics, you will take courses in nutrition, physiology, biology, chemistry, food science, and health.
