Fermanian School of Business
We live in a global society. From multinational corporations to outsourcing, technology to communications, issues related to international business have been frequent news items and topics for debates in recent years. If you are interested in travel, culture, and learning a second language, consider an international business major.
PLNU’s Fermanian School of Business offers a major in business administration with a concentration in international business and an international development studies major. In the concentration, you'll take classes in international business communication, theories of economic development, and public finance in addition to marketing, management, statistics, a foreign language, and you'll spend a semester studying abroad. In the international development studies major, you'll learn about economic development theories and models, development planning, development programming, grassroots development projects, democratization, gender issues in development, urban problems, and other factors that affect the development process.
Both of these majors offer you the opportunity to combine business education with international study. Whichever you choose, you will be prepared for a variety of careers in international business.
