Do you want to make an impact in the lives of young people? Do you get excited to see how on-fire teenagers can be for God's calling? If you have a passion for young people and a desire to help them grow on their spiritual journey, you might be the perfect youth minister.

Overview

PLNU offers a youth ministry minor through the School of Theology and Christian Ministry. You'll take lower-division Bible classes, introduction to youth ministry, a course in developmental psychology, and more. Upper division-requirements include courses on preaching, evangelism and missions, and either worship or hymnology.

If you're a Christian ministry major, you can choose youth ministry as a concentration.

Special Features

• Opportunity for qualified students to participate in a semester-long internship with a local church, earning full-time practical experience. Interns are under joint supervision of the university faculty and a local pastor.
• Conferences and symposiums held on campus throughout the year.
