Background

Emma has enjoyed a teaching career working with preschool through 12th grade students in a variety of teaching roles for the past 22 years.  She enjoys her English, Scottish, and Mexican heritage.  She speaks and teaches Spanish and knows some sign language.  She is a lifelong learner and finds joy in knowledge and discovery.  She holds a cleared elementary California teaching credential as well as a cleared credential for Spanish as a single subject.  Emma is a San Diego native, married to a retired Air Force Technical Sargeant, and mother of five children.  She is excited to be teaching children at the Early Childhood Learning Center!
