Beth is a Northwest native who loves all things evergreen and hiking. Having spent time in higher education as a student, adjunct faculty, and now administrator, Beth enjoys bringing varied outlooks to her work  for the University Academic Centers. At PLNU, Beth primarily works with the First Year Experience class, Honors Program, Visiting Scholars, and Point Loma Press publications. 


Beth's research focuses on Health Communication, Gender Communication, and Media studies. In particular, Beth evaluates the connection between violence and health education. Additionally, Beth studies social media campaigns in order to test their effectiveness in promoting health education and change.
