David Marshman is an accomplished performing artist who specializes in opera, oratorio, art song and church music.  He performs with the San Diego Opera and Los Angeles Opera as a chorister and solo artist.  He has also performed with several Southern California professional choral ensembles including Bach Collegium, San Diego, Sacra Profana, Musica Vitale and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

David has appeared as a soloist in major choral and solo works inclucing Handel's Messiah, Saul, Israel in Egypt, Bach's Saint John's Passion, Christmas Oratorio, Magnificat, Cantatas Number Fifty-Six and Eighty-Two, Mozart's Coronation Mass and Requiem, Faure's Requiem and Mendelssohn's Elijah, in which he performed the title role.  He was a guest soloist with the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus and the bass soloist in Handel's Messiah with Orchestra Nova, San Diego.  David is also featured in a recent CD of contemporary music--The Dream Gallery:  Seven California Portraits by composer Mark Abel.

David also teaches classical voice in his private studio.
