High-quality instruction and hands-on practical experience will enrich your learning and prepare you to advance in your career. Education professionals in PLNU partner districts may be able to apply BTSA work toward their master’s degree.

PLNU’s master’s degree programs in education offer three concentrations:

> The Teaching and Learning concentration prepares professionals to lead effective teaching and learning experiences in both business and K-12 settings. The program integrates the latest teaching theory and research with best practices. Topics covered include teaching with technology, working with diverse student populations, managing corporate learning, and concentrations for classroom teachers. One of six certifications can be earned within this master's degree.

> The Counseling and Guidance concentration covers  counseling practice in diverse social and academic communities grounded in counseling theory and educational psychology and philosophy . Choose a specialization in K-12 counseling with a PPS credential, or College Counseling and Student Development for those working in university, community college and non-profit settings with young adults. Candidates will learn to develop, implement and lead effective counseling programs.

> The Educational Leadership concentration is ideal for both aspiring and current administrators. The program emphasizes the skills necessary for leadership in diverse and changing school environments. Strong emphasis is put on student learning outcomes and building supportive relationships. Our program creates a highly collaborative learning environment where both academic and ethical standards are emphasized.
