Teaching & Learning
Great educators are rarely born that way – most of them are trained. Come to PLNU and become the great educator you are meant to be, whether that means being a classroom teacher working with children or in a community, business or nonprofit position working with adults.
In the teaching and learning program, we will help you master the theories and practices of the best historical and modern educators. Working alongside our experienced and approachable faculty, you will be equipped in the latest learning technologies and develop practical skills to help you teach students from diverse communities in a variety of settings. You will refine instructional skills, apply professional techniques, and develop mastery in the profession of teaching. Our goal is to help you reach your teaching potential as you complete one of the six certifications embedded in our master's degree.
