Where do PLNU students choose to hang out?

The Point Break Café, better known as the PBC, is the place to grab a snack or coffee before class. It’s also a great place to hang out with friends. In addition to both hot and cold food and drink items, the PBC boasts TVs and couches for relaxing between classes.

If you want a comfortable place where you can relax, talk with friends, watch a big screen TV, or play games, check out the ARC on the bottom floor of Nicholson Commons. You can play billiards, ping pong, foosball,  and board games if you’re staying in or you can rent equipment such as mountain bikes, sleeping bags, tents, and surfboards if you’re heading out for the day.

At night, the ARC offers great times of fellowship and entertainment. Don’t miss Time Out, a student-led worship service that takes place Wednesdays from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. It’s a great chance to hear your fellow students share their hearts and stories in a more intimate setting than chapel. After Time Out, head over to the PBC to grab a late night snack and hang with friends while listening to music from Point Loma students and local bands at After Dark.

Come to the ARC for Musoffee, an event that takes place on Thursday nights at 9:00 p.m. upon announcement, where you can enjoy coffee or tea and listen to your fellow students play music, sing, or read short stories and poetry.
