2016-2017 PLNU Housing Process
PLNU is an intentionally residential campus, meaning that most students attending PLNU live on campus. We are a thriving Christ centered community with 65 plus leaders in the residence halls who are excited to walk along side you as you journey through your time at Point Loma.
Our Residential Life staff works with you to facilitate opportunities for growth, development, and fun. We look forward to having you as part of the community this year.
During the housing process we base the application and room selection process on your classification for next year. We call this your “housing cohort”. Your housing cohort is based off of your high school grad date. Housing cohorts are as follows:
If you are a:
- Current Freshmen, in the housing process you will be called "rising Sophomore"
- Current Sophomore, in the housing process you will be called "rising Junior"
- Current Junior, in the housing process you will be called "rising Senior"
The housing process will begin in March. You will be notified via email each step of the way but below are the housing dates you will want to remember.
February 22nd – Application is open
March 15th – Application closes
April 1st – Notification of room selection date and time will be sent via PLNU email.
April 6th - April 22nd – Room selection. You will choose your room on-line through your student portal.
