The Housing Process

PLNU is an intentionally residential campus, meaning that most students attending PLNU live on campus.

We are a thriving Christ-centered community with more than 65 leaders in the residence halls who are excited to walk alongside you as you journey through your time at PLNU. Our residential life staff works with you to facilitate opportunities for growth, development, and fun. We look forward to having you as part of the community this year.

During the housing process, we base the application and room selection process on your classification for following year. We call this your “housing cohort.” Your housing cohort is based off your high school graduation date. Housing cohorts are as follows:

If you are a:

  • Current freshman, in the housing process you will be called "rising sophomore"
  • Current sophomore, in the housing process you will be called "rising junior"
  • Current junior, in the housing process you will be called "rising senior"

Students will receive email instructions from the Housing Office that will include dates, instructions, and deadlines.
