2013-2014 PLNU Housing Application

The housing application for 2013-2014 will be available on-line through the student portal beginning the week of March 1, 2013.  The application will close on March 31, 2013.  Changes can be made to the application until it closes on March 31st.  On the application students will choose and verify roommates. All students who do not have a roommate when the application closes on March 31, 2013 will be paired up by the housing office based on profile questions and cohort.

All students who currently live on campus are required to fill out a housing application.  Failure to complete a housing application yields your placement to the Office of Residential Life.

Some students opt to live off campus. There is a place on the application to indicate your desire to live off campus.  Below you will find more information regarding living off campus.

Rising Sophomores (current Freshmen who will be Sophomores next year):
Rising sophomores live on campus unless they are living at their primary residence with their parents. If you are planning on living at home next year, complete the application and proceed through room selection as if you will be living on campus. Once verified by the housing office, you will be notified via email of approval.

Rising Juniors (current Sophomores who will be Juniors next year):
Our expectation is that rising juniors will be living on campus. If you are interested in applying to be on the off-campus wait-list, on the application you can select "off campus wait-list" and then complete the rest of the application and proceed through the room selection process, assuming you will live on campus. You will be notified via email if your request to live off campus has been approved.

IMPORTANT:
Leases, rental agreements, or other off campus housing commitments must not be made until official approval from the PLNU housing office is received via your PLNU email account. We will be emailing approved individuals on a rolling notification from April through July based on need and in random order.

Rising Seniors (current Juniors who will be Seniors next year):
Rising seniors can self select to live on or off campus. If you choose to live off campus you will be asked to confirm your decision and your housing application will be complete. You will receive a confirmation email from the housing office confirming your off campus decision.
