Faith in the Community

Connecting with the local church is one way to continue fostering your faith outside of PLNU.  There are many, great San Diego area churches to attend, volunteer, or intern with.  Summer opportunities could land you at churches in Hawaii, San Francisco, Bakersfield, or more locally, Solana Beach.  There are also a few pretty great post-grad programs out there.

Wherever you find yourself, know that the local church is blessed by your time and talents, and it can offer you rich community as well.

INTERN

There are opportunities for you to serve the church with whatever talents and areas of interest you bring, whether it's graphic design, teaching, accounting, youth ministry, or social work.

Looking for a Church?

If you are new to PLNU or just looking for a new place to worship, we encourage you to ask a friend, RA, Professor, or staff member  about local church culture.  Students at PLNU attend churches both modern & liturgical, large & small, charismatic & conservative.  Feel free to stop by Spiritual Development if you'd like to talk with a Campus Pastor or staff member.
