Provides tutoring and after school activities for East African children.

Alima Tutoring Ministry works with East African (Somali, Sudanese, and Ethiopian) children in the City Heights area, many of whom are refugees. We offer tutoring and a safe place for after school activities. Alima meets on Tuesdays, tutoring children from ages 4 to 15 in all subjects (math, reading, grammar, science, etc.). After completing homework, we spend our free time playing games, doing arts and crafts, and eating a meal together. Join us as we serve Christ and our friends from East Africa!

Meet our student leaders, Alex Hamill, Sam Chafin, & Jill Riewald:

Group departs from the loading dock behind Nicholson Commons every Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. Returns to campus at 7:15 p.m. Email for more information!
