Building relationships with elderly residents through fellowship, prayer, kindness, and love.

Every Saturday morning a group of us head over to the Golden Living Retirement home for a few hours to visit the elderly residents, listen to their stories, and just share our lives with them. Many of the residents have continuously told me that we are all blessings in their lives. However, I truthfully feel like they have had an even larger impact on us. one of the reasons why this ministry is so special is because we not only give these residents a sense of hope, but we also give them the feeling that they are still loved. One verse that ties this ministry together is in Leviticus 19:32 which says, "Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord."
