Apply to be apart of Created Space Leadership HERE

Created Space Intern - this is a paid position that works directly with the Assistant Director of Discipleship Ministries to plan each month's Created Space event. This person needs to be creative, organized, responsible, and self-motivated. The work load is 10 hours per month.

Created Space Crew - this is a volunteer position that helps Created Space events happen each month. Members are invited to help brainstorm ideas twice a year, and to help with the set up or tear down of each event. This position is vital to the actualization of Created Space events.

There is no limit to worship—from placing prayer to a melody or kneeling before a cross, the ways we glorify God are as varied as creation itself. Created Space does just that—it creates a space for students to craft their own form of personal prayer through artistic and creative expressions.

"Creative Space has been one of my favorite events on campus. It's a time to come together with others to worship through music and the creative talents that God has given us."

Monthly Workshops

On the first Tuesday of every month during the semester a small group of students gather in Colt Forum for a more intimate setting to develop a particular form of personal prayer. A loose theme is offered, such as ‘gratitude,’ ‘hope,’ ‘or joy,’ to help guide students’ prayerful creative work. From watercolor to arts and crafts, the mode of expression varies from month to month.

The monthly workshops are open to all students. There is no limit to those who can attend, get creative, and worship, so we encourage you to drop by and experience it for yourself!
