Welcome to the first step in a journey of service and ministry with LoveWorks! God has used LoveWorks to bless and enrich many of our lives across the PLNU family and around the world. LoveWorks has extended our community into friendship with sisters and brothers far from Loma. We hope you have prayerfully considered what LoveWorks will require, that you have sought wisdom, and that you are prepared to move forward in faith.
Please make sure that you are fully prepared to complete the entire online application before continuing. If you would rather submit a paper application, please contact us at loveworks@pointloma.edu to request one. Remember that all applications are due by Monday, January 21, 2013. If we need to ask you additional questions or meet together, we will contact you. Completing the application does not formally commit you to a team. It allows us to create teams from applicants who appear to be a good fit. Once placed on a team, you will receive a packet with further instructions on formally committing to join the team.
Teams will be announced before training begins on January 31st . Formal commitments (signed Letter of Agreement) are due to our office by January 31, 2013.
LoveWorks began twenty-six years ago with a kind invitation to come and partner in Kingdom service. This year we are blessed once again by the hospitality and warm welcome in the invitations we have received. In turn, it is our pleasure to extend the invitation to you.

STEP 1: Review Trip Options

STEP 2: Gather All Information
Review the Application Checklist, which lists everything you'll need to apply, including:
- Passport Information
- 2 References' Information (non-student, non-family character references-- no reference letter necessary)
- Short Essay Questions
- Your top 4 trip choices
STEP 3: Passport Information
Do you have a current US passport?
YES: If so, you will need your passort issue and expiration dates and authorization location when you apply.
NO: It is NOT required to have a current passport upon application but if you are selected to join a team, you will be required to apply for and obtain a passport by the spring semester.

STEP 4: Prepare Short Essays
You will be asked to answer 4 short essay questions to help us get to know you better and make the best team placement for you. Please review the Application Checklist for a list of these questions. We encourage you to prepare your answers in advance.
NEXT STEPS: What comes next?
If accepted, you will receive an email before January 31, 2013 confirming your team placement.You will receive a welcome packet including a Letter of Agreement, which confirms your participation. To confirm your participation, return the completed Letter of Agreement to Spiritual Development in Nicholson Commons by January 31,2013.
