The Office of Worship Ministries primarily involves students across campus who seek to offer their musical gifts and talents to the PLNU community. These students participate and lead music during Chapel and Time Out. They also have the opportunity to lead dorm events, staff/ faculty departments, and off-campus groups in time of worship.
Students involved with Worship Ministries are often utilized by local churches as interns or as part of their band. With such need and opportunity in the San Diego area, we encourage students to be involved in worship at a church through music and fellowship.
Worship Ministries is not just about music. It’s about living a life of worship 24/7 - in our academic world, our relationship world, our financial world. It's about how we spend our time. Living a life of worship is relentlessly pursuing the communion of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Romans 12 urges us to offer ourselves as living sacrafices, holy and pleasing ton God. Worship at PLNU calls students, staff, and faculty into a time of transformation and communion towards God with our mind, body, and spirit.
All Things New
Colossians 1 says "For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
During a Time Out service, George Williamson, Director of Worship Ministries, joined by a talented band of PLNU alums, led worship and recorded a live worship album.
