Q: How do I begin an IRB proposal?

Q: Which template do I choose?
A: See whether you meet the criteria for an exempt or expedited review. Otherwise, choose full.
Q: I need a full review. When do they take place?
A: Full review occurs only on regularly scheduled committee meeting dates.

Q: I've submitted my proposal. How long will it take to receive approval?
A: Plan for at least 21 working days, but it can take longer if extensive revisions are necessary.
Q: I've completed my original project and would either like to continue the project or am ready to submit my summary. What do I do?
A: Fill out the IRB Summary-Continuation Form and send to IRB@pointloma.edu.
