Institutional Research

About Institutional Research

Institutional Research (IR), established in 1984, serves the University and its public by offering a wide variety of data. Located in Mieras Hall, Institutional Research functions within the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. In 2010, IR ceased to be an independent office, and is currently a division of Institutional Effectiveness.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Institutional Research, as a member of the PLNU learning community, is to provide an accurate representation of the University and support decision-making through the efficient, timely and accurate collection of data. Central to the function of IR is the gathering, analysis, and distribution of data and information for the production of an electronic Fact Book as well as the routine filing of internal and external reports.
