Oxfam America is now accepting applications for its national student leadership program for rising college sophomores and juniors. CHANGE Leaders are exposed to the international development issues that inform Oxfam's work, and apply their skills and creativity to run Oxfam campaigns on campus. Selected students participate in a week-long training in Boston, July 19-25, 2014, which is organized and paid for by Oxfam. Students then work with Oxfam on campus during the 2014-15 academic year and join or form an Oxfam Club to implement an Oxfam campaign on campus.

Point Loma / Hervey Branch Library ~ Tutoring!
The Point Loma/Hervey Branch Library is looking for student volunteers to help our student patrons with math, physics, and English homework. Volunteers would be able to spend 2 hours/2 days a week at the library. Students patrons come into the library after 2:15 pm, volunteers would be needed from 2:30 until 4:30pm. Hours and times can also be arranged. All volunteers will receive a letter of appreciation and are invited to our special volunteers parties we have throughout the year.
