"The Messiah" - Handel's oratorio performed by the PLNU Choral Union and Orchestra at 3:00 pm
This seasonal tradition takes place at a new time: 3:00pm. Come hear "The Messiah" and then enjoy your evening with family and friends. Sunday, December 6, 3:00pm in Brown Chapel. Admission is free and no ticket is required. A goodwill offering will be taken following the performance.

A Nostalgic Christmas: Jerry Nelson in Concert
Jazz and classical pianisst Jerry Nelson will perform in a concert to benefit the mission work in Rwanda. You can see Jerry's biography by clicking on the name of this event. Monday, December 7, 7:30 pm in Crill Performance Hall. Admission is free but your donations to the work in Rwanda to take care of and educate children orphaned by AIDs will be greatly appreciated.

College of Arts & Sciences

PLNU students and faculty are constantly performing for and interacting with the larger community. Our Concert Choir and Concert Band tour to churches and other venues within our region, Point Loma Singers, the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and the Jazz Band have performed for many church and community groups, our Choral Union and University Orchestra have performed Handel’s Messiah for thousands, and school groups have been audiences for performances of opera and musical theater. In addition, our distinguished faculty continue to present master classes and workshops to local, regional and national groups.
