Creation Care Week

Monday, September 10, 2012

PLNU celebrated its ninth annual Creation Care Week Sept. 10-15. Creation Care Week provides environmental education and awareness and explores the role of sustainability in our Christian faith. This year’s Creation Care Week featured a sustainability fair; Bike the Jam, where off-campus students, faculty, and staff could bike (or walk) to campus for free coffee and breakfast; a sustainability networking event, where students could meet professionals working in sustainability; and a community-wide beach clean-up day at Sunset Cliffs. Ben Lowe, author of Green Revolution, also spoke in chapel and at a Brewed Awakening event about creation care and how students can get involved with sustainability.
