Dr. Greer Presents Two Papers at the BEA Conference in Las Vegas

In April, Dr. Clark Greer, professor of communication, presented two papers with co-author Doug Ferguson, professor of communication at College of Charleston, at the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) conference in Las Vegas: “Tablet Computers and Traditional TV Viewing: Is the iPad Replacing Television?” and “Predicting the Adoption of Mobile DTV by Local Television Stations in the U.S.” The first paper was awarded first place in the open category of the Interactive Media and Emerging Technologies Competitive Paper Division, and the second was awarded second place in the Management, Marketing, and Programming Division.
