Stats and Numbers

1.    How many students go to PLNU?
          +    Point Loma’s enrollment is capped at 2,400 students…and we’re at that cap.  We’ll never have any more than 2400!
2.    What is the student to faculty ratio?
          +    Because PLNU’s enrollment is capped, we maintain a very low student to faculty ratio: 14 to one!
3.    What is the male to female student ratio?
          +    PLNU is right around the national average for colleges and universities—we’re about 60% female, 40% male.
4.    Average class size?
          +    An average class here is 19 students.
5.    How big is PLNU?
          +    Campus is 93 beautiful oceanfront acres!  Want to see more?
6.    How many people are in a room when you live on campus?
          +    There are a variety of ways students can live on campus.  Typically, you’ll be in a room with one other person, but you can live in a room alone, you can live with two others, or in the apartments on campus, you could live with four others!
7.    How many applications do you get every year?
          +    Admissions at Point Loma is competitive, but not impossible.  Last year we received around 4,000 applications.
