Gabrielle “Gabby” Leibbrandt has been an occupational therapist for over six years. Most of her time has been spent working in acute care as an occupational therapist at UC San Diego Health. She previously served as the ICU service line leader for rehabilitation services at UCSD’s Hillcrest location. Gabby has a passion for teaching and has served as a level II fieldwork educator for several students and has been a mentor for new graduates in the acute care setting. A Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist, she is passionate about acute care, particularly with underserved populations and looks forward to fostering a love of the profession with the next generation of practitioners. Outside of work, Gabby enjoys traveling with her husband and young daughter, spending time at the beach, and training for triathlons.
