San San Blain, M.S., M.M., M.Ed.

Adjunct Professor of Mathematics

San San Blain has a versatile background in mathematics, computer science, data science, and music. She has over 20 years of experience as a math and music instructor and more than 10 years in software development and data science. She strives to create a climate of high standards with accountability, fairness, and support for her students. She has taught all grades from kindergarten to graduate school. 

As a programmer, she has built financial and scientific applications. These include portfolio management systems, a call and defect tracking system, customized Oracle Financials, a fraud detection system, and a jet engine diagnostic system utilized by the US Air Force. Her former employers include the Federal Reserve Board, Smith Barney, and a joint venture of SAIC and Rolls-Royce.

In her spare time, she enjoys making music and serves as an active member of her church music ministry. She is also devoted to her rotund cat named Stitch.
