Stacey Berggren, Ph.D.

Vice President of Marketing

Dr. Stacey Berggren serves as Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing at Point Loma Nazarene University, where she leads undergraduate, graduate, and online admissions, as well as marketing initiatives. As a member of the President’s Cabinet, she provides strategic leadership focused on enrollment sustainability and overall university marketing strategy.

Prior to joining PLNU, Stacey dedicated nearly 25 years to Northwest Nazarene University, serving in a variety of leadership roles, including Vice President for Enrollment Management, Director of Admissions, University Registrar, and Admissions Counselor. Throughout her career, she has led initiatives in enrollment strategy, marketing, student retention, financial aid, change management, and crisis management, while also contributing as an adjunct faculty member.

A recognized leader in Christian higher education, Stacey serves on the Board of the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) and is a member of the Enrollment and Marketing Commission of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU).

Stacey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Troy University, a Master’s of Education degree in School Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University, and a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University.

Passionate about developing leaders, Stacey’s research explores the relationships among women in leadership and the ways women support, mentor, and advance one another. She is committed to expanding opportunities for leadership and fostering environments where women and men can thrive professionally and personally.
