Suzanne Lair, MSA

Professor of Accounting

Professor Suzanne Lair holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she graduated in 2005. With professional roots in public accounting, Suzanne began her career in auditing and tax roles at Ernst & Young and later at Jaynes, Reitmeier, Boyd, and Therrell, CPA. Transitioning into higher education, Suzanne has served as an adjunct professor at both San Diego Christian College and Point Loma Nazarene University, teaching courses in accounting and mathematics in both online and in-person formats.

Beyond academia, Professor Lair has spent over 15 years in pastoral leadership with All Peoples Church in San Diego, South Bay, and Tijuana, where she developed and led teaching programs, small groups, and community training in diverse cultural contexts. Known for her engaging teaching style, attention to detail, and ability to foster a love for learning, Professor Lair brings a depth of experience in both education and leadership that enriches the student experience in and out of the classroom.
