On March 5, 2025, the Fermanian School of Business at Point Loma Nazarene University hosted its Spring Executive Networking Event at The Lane. The evening featured a compelling keynote address from Caitlin Stone Jasper, Partner & Head of Activism at Activist Artists Management and one of Rolling Stone’s Top 40 Under 40
The event drew a record number of attendees, including executive partners, alumni, faculty, students, and staff, all gathered to engage in meaningful connection and professional growth.
A highlight of the evening was the introduction of the FSB’s newly established Advisory Board with Board Member, Mike Stein in attendance, and the Alumni Board, presented by Dean Jamie Hess and FSB Alumni Board President Jordan Pacheco. Caitlin Stone Jasper shared invaluable perspectives on confidence, networking, mentorship, and the importance of mental health in today’s business landscape.
Assistant Dean JC Hurtado-Prater, along with Spring graduate Valerie Guerrero and Colby Douglas, provided a warm welcome, introduction, and facilitated an engaging Q&A session following the keynote.
The evening also included the presentation of the 2025 Nersesian Scholarship, awarded to a dedicated MBA student in recognition of academic excellence and perseverance.
