Fermanian School of Business Alumni Social Networking Event Recap

Last Thursday, the Fermanian School of Business Alumni Board hosted its inaugural alumni social networking event—and it was a tremendous success! Held at the stylish Moniker General in Liberty Station, the evening began with a lively mix of refreshments, music, and conversation as alumni reconnected and expanded their professional networks.

Dean Jamie Hess officially welcomed attendees and introduced our generous event sponsors:

Following sponsor remarks, FSB Alumni Board President Jordan Pacheco addressed the group before introducing Vice President Austin Gatons, who presented an overview of our Special Industry Groups (SIGs):

  • Finance & Accounting – Spokesperson: Daniel Mead
  • Real Estate – Leader: Matt Herskowitz
  • Operations, Supply Chain & Project Management – Spokesperson: Austin Gatons

Each SIG leader or spokesperson shared their vision, goals, and upcoming plans—sparking excitement among attendees eager to get involved.

The evening concluded with door prizes being awarded, more time to mingle, network, and enjoy the shared energy of the FSB alumni community. Attendees left energized and already asking about the next event!
