The Department of Sustainability is a catalyst for environmentally positive change by educating, connecting, and empowering the members of our PLNU community. We encourage and facilitate the wellbeing of our ecological systems by shaping and equipping students, staff, and faculty, to engage in habits of good environmental stewardship.
The department provides the following services:
- Advance sustainability practices at an institutional level
- Creation Care Week
- Projects & Programs to increase campus wide sustainability initiatives
- Yearly Earth Day events
- Providing educational programs and opportunities
- Connections with local sustainable businesses and nonprofit organizations
