ITS Help Center & Media Services

Information Technology Services (ITS) supports the PLNU community by delivering reliable, accessible, and service-oriented technology solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and university operations. From classroom technology and computer labs to event production and account support, we provide responsive assistance and well-maintained systems to ensure a seamless experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests. Through the PLNU Solution Center and services like Media Support and equipment rentals, our team is committed to meeting the everyday technology needs of the university with excellence, clarity, and care.

The Solution Center

The PLNU Solution Center is a unified support desk for Campus Facilities and ITS. We are ready to assist in topics ranging from transportation reservations, general maintenance requests, PLNU account access, computer support, and general university service needs.

Media Services

Media Services provides comprehensive support and maintenance for the following:

• Large Venue Event Spaces
• Classroom and Conference Room Technology
• Audio and Video Live Recording and Streaming

We are proud to support the PLNU community by ensuring all technological aspects of events and learning environments run smoothly and efficiently.

In addition to internal support, Media Services also offers:

• Audio and Video Equipment Rentals
• Event Production Services

These services are available to the PLNU community and to third-party organizations hosting events on any of the PLNU campuses. 

Classroom Technology

All PLNU classrooms are equipped with a standardized technology configuration designed to support seamless instruction and presentation. Each classroom includes:

Instructor Podium with Touch Screen Controller - Easily select from multiple input sources, including:

• Apple TV – For wireless content sharing
• Podium Computer – Fully equipped and ready for use 
• USB-C – Bring and connect your own device

To report a problem with a classroom, contact us at help@pointloma.edu or (619) 849-2222. To place an order for pickup or delivery, log in and complete the Media Event Request form. 

Computer Labs

There are four computer labs located on the first floor of Ryan Library: Wasson Collaborative Learning Lab, Hughes lab, Language lab, and Main lab. All these labs are designated for classes and general student use during library hours. In addition, there are department-specific computer labs located in various places on the Point Loma campus. Hours and availability vary by location.

Printing is available in the Ryan Library computer labs. To manage your printing funds, go to id.pointloma.edu, where you can see your current funds and add money to your SeaLion$ account.
