In the heart of campus sits the Ryan Library, where students go to study, research, have class, and get help for projects.
Center for Teaching and Learning
The Center for Teaching and Learning exists to provide leadership, encouragement, advocacy, and resources to enhance teaching, learning, and scholarship for all faculty, including full-time, part-time, and adjunct faculty. The Center is committed to cultivating a culture at PLNU that values and facilitates ongoing professional development and growth.
Career Services
Career Services is PLNU’s dedicated on-campus career development center. Our mission is to prepare Christ-centered, career-ready, graduates who want to make a difference in this world.
Educational Access Center
The PLNU Educational Access Center (EAC) is the point of contact regarding disability-related needs for PLNU undergraduate and graduate students. The EAC assists current and incoming students with accessing and participating in PLNU programs and activities by establishing an official Accommodation Plan (AP).
Tutorial Services
Tutorial Services is an integral part of the overall mission of PLNU in that it supports and nurtures the development of the student as an active and independent learner. Our goal is to provide resources and opportunities that teach the skills and strategies that help students become independent and active learners while promoting academic and personal success.
Office of Instructional Technology
Point Loma Nazarene University’s Office of Instructional Technology (OIT) exists to nurture technology literacy among faculty so they can implement appropriate uses of technology to enhance the quality of teaching and learning at PLNU. Our vision is to provide excellent training and consultation services for faculty using both classroom and online instructional technologies.
Loma Writing Center
The Loma Writing Center exists to help all members of the PLNU community cultivate transferable writing skills to engage their academic, professional, personal, and spiritual communities. We work toward this goal by conducting one-on-one consultation sessions, supporting writing education across the PLNU community, and participating in ongoing writing center research.
