PLNU does not offer transcript evaluations until a student has completed our application. Once your application is complete, you may contact your Admissions Counselor to request an evaluation.

Please refer to our transfer requirements page for more info about admissions and transfer conditions that must be met.
What if I want to transfer into PLNU's School of Nursing?
PLNU's School of Nursing is one of the best around! There are specific requirements, however, for those who wish to apply. Please refer to our Requirements for Nursing Majors for more info.
Who can I talk to about transferring?
Each prospective student is matched with an Admission Counselor. Your Admissions Counselor is not an academic advisor, but will be able to assist you with the application process and familiarize you with Point Loma. They also will be able to request a transcript evaluation on your behalf. Find out who your Admissions Counselor is so you can start the process!
What is the cost and how do I get financial aid?
Tuition for the 2009-2010 year is $25,300. Room and board, depending on your meal plan, averages around $8,000 per year. We recommend all of our prospective students fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon after January 1 as possible. This is the first step in receiving financial aid. PLNU does not require a separate application for financial aid. Certain scholarships may require extra materials or auditions. PLNU offers a $4,000 "Provost Scholarship" to transfer students who meet eligibility criteria. Find out about eligibility criteria and other scholarships at our Tuition and Financial Aid website.
