Admission Information
Application available: December 1 of each year (For fall BSN program)Application deadline: February 1 (New Admissions Criteria for Transfer Students: Transfer students must have all prerequisite courses and Microbiology completed at the time of application to the BSN program.) Admission date: Students are admitted to nursing and pre-nursing annually in the fall only.
Tuition: 12-17 units $27,700/year (2011-2012 academic year)
Room and board: Shared room, 15 meals/week $9,100/year (2011-2012 academic year)
Scholarships/Financial aid: Information available through Student Financial Services
Advanced Standing: LVNs and RNs licensed in the State of California are accepted into the program with advanced standing based on transfer of credit and credit-by-examination.

Special Features
- Public Health Nurse (PHN): PHN certification is available upon completion of degree and RN licensure.
- International Nursing: Off campus, cross-cultural experiences for juniors/seniors are available. Options depend on faculty resources.
- Health Promotion Center: Nursing students gain hands on experience while helping others at PLNU's free clinic located in Mid-City San Diego.
