PLNU Digital ID
Deadline: Submit your photo by August 14, 2026. There are two ways you can submit your photo: on your mobile device, or on a computer. Photos submitted by any other means will not be accepted. Taking your ID photo with most smartphones works well. Contact idphoto@pointloma.edu if you have any questions.
Title IX University Compliance Mandatory Training
Log into your PLNU email address to find an email from titleIX@pointloma.edu with instructions on how to access your Title IX and Hazing courses. Be sure to use the instructions on your Loma Launchpad. Both courses must be complete by June 26th.
Wellness Center – Health Services
Immunizations Records and TB Screening are required for new students. Deadline is July 15 to upload to your student portal.
myPLNU app
This app will include regular updates and schedule information about Welcome Week. This app will be essential for your time on campus during Welcome Week. Students automatically have a profile built for them. Parents and Guests can access a guest version of the app that allows for access to Welcome Week info.

Orientation to Canvas
Canvas is PLNU’s Learning Management System (LMS). Instructors at PLNU use Canvas to deliver course content and instruction. Your orientation to Canvas and all your task list items can be found using the Loma Launchpad course.
LomaBooks Textbook Program (Textbooks and Course Materials)
This program offers students an academic edge by providing all course required textbooks and electronic learning materials on the first day of class. Class schedules are available after July 1st.
Students are automatically enrolled into this program and must opt out if they want to purchase textbooks elsewhere.
Workday for Students (and for Parents - 3rd Party Account)
- Workday is designed to serve as your personalized entry point for information and resources to conduct business with the University. (i.e., Student Employment; Student Accounts; Roommate Info; Housing Assignment, Class Schedule, etc.)
