Step 2. Gather Required Information
Have the following ready before starting your application:
- Servicemember name and SSN if using transferred benefits
- Current address and contact information
- One email address for all VA communication
- Opt in to VA text messaging when prompted
- Bank account information for direct deposit
Step 3. What Happens After You Apply
- The VA application takes about 15 minutes to complete.
- You will receive a decision letter by mail within approximately 30 business days. This is your Certificate of Eligibility.
- Students utilizing Chapter 33 and Chapter 35 must verify their enrollment monthly to receive their housing stipend.
Step 4. Submit Documents to PLNU
You will receive a Workday Action Item with instructions to submit all required documentation.
