Dear Point Loma Nazarene University Parents, It’s a pleasure to welcome you to Point Loma Nazarene University and this beautiful, ocean-side campus. There is something very special about this place and I hope you quickly sense that and feel at home here. Thank you for the privilege of sharing in the life of your student in these important college years. The university, as a learning community in an environment of vital Christianity, strives to fulfill its mission to teach, shape, and send quality graduates who are prepared to live out their faith in every aspect of their lives. It is our hope that the shaping of these college years develops the whole person in knowledge, wisdom, faith, and relationships. These are years of dramatic change in the life of your student and it is rewarding to share in their growth and maturing. As parents of Point Loma students and graduates, there is a common bond we share with other parents. We are a part of a rich tradition and heritage that reaches back more than 100 years, yet we now share in the most exciting days of the university.
