Jennifer Niethammer, M.S.

Adjunct Professor of Biology

Jennifer Niethammer is a native of Chicago, IL who earned her B.S. in Biology from Illinois State University and her M.S. in Biology from Point Loma Nazarene University. She comes with 9 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings. As an alumni she joined the faculty as an adjunct professor in 2020 and has been teaching for the department since, in courses such as University Now and labs in Organismal Biology, Cell Biology, Ecology and Evolution, and Human Biology and Bioethics. She uses her background in biotechnology research, high school teaching, and her passion for environmental preservation to fuel interest in her students, supporting their intellectual curiosity beyond the classroom.
