lluminate Speaker and Engagement Series: Justin Giboney

Point Loma Nazarene University welcomes attorney, author and founder and president of AND Campaign Justin Giboney for a timely conversation about Christian faithfulness in an increasingly polarized culture.

A Faithful Christian Witness in a Divided World

How can Christians hold deep convictions without allowing those convictions to become sources of division? What does it mean to engage the most difficult questions of our time while remaining rooted in Christ?

Point Loma Nazarene University welcomes attorney, author and founder and president of AND Campaign Justin Giboney for a timely conversation about Christian faithfulness in an increasingly polarized culture.

At a moment when public life often pressures us to focus on winning instead of solving, Giboney offers another way. His work as reflected in his newest book, “Don't Let Nobody Turn You Around: How the Black Church's Public Witness Leads Us out of the Culture War,” challenges Christians to resist political tribalism and the culture war while pursuing a public witness grounded in biblical faithfulness, justice and love of neighbor.

The conversation is part of PLNU’s Illuminate Speaker and Engagement Series, which brings thoughtful Christian voices into dialogue with the university community around consequential questions facing the church and our world. Through Spirit-led, Scripture-shaped discernment, we seek not simply to navigate complexity but to become people whose lives bear faithful witness to the reconciling love of Christ.

During His Visit

Throughout his two days at PLNU, Giboney will engage students, faculty, staff and university leaders in a variety of settings, creating space for conversation about what faithful Christian witness looks like in the midst of political and cultural division. We invite you to watch online as Justin speaks to our community during our Wednesday morning Chapel on Wednesday, January 20 from 9:45-10:30am PST.
