Our Mission

To promote access for all members of the PLNU community by facilitating self-advocacy, removing barriers, providing resources for learning, and creating a culture that honors each person's unique, God-given gifts. (1 Corinthians 12:4-28)

Our Purpose

Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) provides individuals with disabilities access to university programs, services, and activities. Pursuant the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, PLNU prohibits discrimination and harassment against a qualified individual with a disability.

What We Do

The PLNU Educational Access Center (EAC) is the point of contact regarding disability-related needs for PLNU undergraduate and graduate students. The EAC assists current and incoming students with accessing and participating in PLNU programs and activities by establishing an official Accommodation Plan (AP). Activities include student success seminars, a mentoring program, a student club, a self-advocacy course, study spaces, and testing services.
