We are proud of our alumni, and we want to stay in touch with you. Anyone who has completed 24 or more units from PLNU is automatically a member of the PLNU Alumni Association.
Here are some of the benefits and services we provide for you, our alums!
Hotel Partnerships
PLNU partners with seven Bartell Hotels in San Diego to provide discounted rates to PLNU family and friends. In addition to providing a discount, Bartell will donate 10 percent of the total room cost to our University Fund benefiting student scholarships.
PLNU family and friends receive rates that are below best available rates. Hotel rates are based on availability and all appropriate taxes and hotel fees apply. To guarantee a special rate, each guest must ask for the "PLNU rate" at the time the reservation is made and we suggest you book early to ensure availability.
Viewpoint
PLNU’s alumni magazine, full of interesting articles, university news, and updates from our alums, is published three times a year.

Insurance Discounts
Did you know many insurance companies (auto, home, etc.) provide discounts to customers who are members of an alumni association? If you have completed 24 or more units through our university, you are automatically a member of the PLNU Alumni Association. Contact your insurance agency today to ask about possible discounts.
529 College Savings Plan
It is now possible to buy university tuition units for your children, who may enroll years from now, at today’s rate. 529 College Savings Plans, accepted by PLNU and many other universities nationwide, deliver significant savings on the cost of a private college education.
PLNU is committed to helping families access a high quality education, and participates in Private College 529 Plan and ScholarShare College Savings Plan.
With Private College 529 Plan, no enrollment or annual fees are charged, allowing 100% of contributions to go toward the purchase of tuition. Families are able to purchase tomorrow’s tuition at today’s prices — no matter how much tuition rises or what happens in the financial markets.
With the ScholarShare College Savings Plan, families can enroll in several different investment options, including age-based programs. ScholarShare is a 529 plan providing federal and state tax deferral on any earnings. Money withdrawn to pay for qualified higher education expenses is also free from state and federal income tax.

Alumni Merchandise
You may have graduated, but that doesn't mean you have lost your school spirit.
Grab yourself some PLNU gear from the online bookstore! Show your school spirit at your family gatherings and workplace. Any "Alumni" gear purchased sends 10% back to Alumni Student Scholarships.
Alumni Bricks
You may have graduated, but that doesn't mean you have to lose your connection to PLNU. Leave a lasting legacy by ordering a personalized alumni brick.
The Alumni Association offers custom engraved bricks on which you may
include:
- Graduate's name
- Graduate's major
- Graduation year
- Favorite Bible verse reference
The engraving maximum is three lines with up to 13 characters/spaces per
line.
We are currently accepting orders for the Class of 2023 only.
LomaConnect
On LomaConnect, you can find and reminisce with old friends, make new connections, and stay in touch with your alma mater. Network with faculty and peers within your industry or field of study, and continue your lifelong learning with PLNU stories and resources.

Guest Cottage
On-campus accommodations for PLNU alumni are provided through the Alumni House, with a guest cottage overlooking the Pacific Ocean!
