Online Anatomy

Different students have different needs and for some, learning online is the best way to comprehend the complexity of the human body. For this reason, the Anatomy Learning Institute is committed to providing online learning opportunities using cutting edge technology to enhance student learning. Below is a list of courses that we currently offer that you can complete, request transcripts for and transfer to other institutions.

Human Anatomy with Lab (4 credits)

In this fully online and asynchronous course, students learn about the human body from cellular to organ system level of organization. 

Gross and microscopic anatomy of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, sensory, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, excretory, and reproductive systems of the human body.

Neuroanatomy (3 credits)

In this fully online and asynchronous course, students will develop an understanding of the central nervous system and its neuroanatomical structures and function.

The structure and organization of the central nervous system including, cranial nerves, cortical and spinal cord organization, somatomotor, somatosensory, autonomic, special sensory systems and monoaminergic systems.
