Gina Jung

Adjunct instructor of Music Theory

Gina Jung is originally from South Korea. At the age of six, she began classical music studies on the piano and developed perfect pitch. After moving to San Diego, she became the pianist/music director for her church and started teaching piano lessons. Since 2009, she has maintained a private piano studio. She has been teaching and is the coordinator of music theory at San Diego Mesa College. She teaches AP music theory at Torah High School and at Point Loma Nazarene University since 2023.

This Fall, she will begin her Doctor of Music Arts Degree in Piano Performance at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, CA.
