Adjunct Professor, Child Development

 

Stacey Wright began teaching Child Development courses for the Accelerated Undergraduate Program in the Spring 2018 semester. She is a PLNU alumna and received her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a minor in Psychology in 2009. She then attended Pacific Oaks College and earned a Master’s Degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education in 2013. In her master’s thesis she explored the connection between teacher-child power dynamics and children’s empathic responses to one another in a preschool setting. Stacey has worked with young children for 13 years. She is going on ten years teaching and nine years as the Assistant Director at Mission Hills Community Preschool. As a professor, preschool teacher, and administrator, she is most passionate about engaging with people of all ages and all different walks of life and learning together with them.
