Brewed Awakening

Brewed Awakening with Nancy Cordova March 19

Join the Center for Justice & Reconciliation for the second Brewed Awakening of the year with Nancy Cordova featuring artwork by Robert Valiente-Neighbours! Nancy is a singer and songwriter interested in sharing a message of love through writing and singing songs that speak of hope, justice and new beginnings. Nancy tries to combine “artivism” (activism+art) with worship music, as she feels God’s love is the foundation for any social justice movement.  Nancy has lived in the U.S-Mexico borderlands all her life, and because of this background, Nancy has a deep passion for immigrant and refugee rights. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 19th at 6:30pm in the ARC for free fair trade coffee and tea and a performance to stir the social conscience!
