HOSTILE TERRAIN 94 Exhibit in Keller Gallery

The Undocumented Migration Project, in collaboration with the PLNU Departments of LJWL and Art+Design, presents the Hostile Terrain 94 (HT94) installation project.  HT94 includes 3,771 handwritten toe tags that represent migrants who have died while trying to cross the Sonoran Desert of Arizona between the mid-1990's and present day.  The toe tags were filled out by students, staff, and faculty across the PLNU campus.  This campus-wide participatory effort serves as a way to remember and honor these migrants and to raise awareness for the humanitarian crisis occurring at the U.S. / Mexico border.  This exhibition will run from January 17th-February 18th, 2023.  Opening Reception will be Tuesday, January 17th, from 5-7pm in Keller Gallery.  The gallery is open M-F from 9am-4pm and is free to all.
