Jacob Mitchell is a production technician for Abbott Laboratories, one of the top producers of COVID diagnostics worldwide. The skills and knowledge he gained at PLNU as a student and research associate has been invaluable for Jacob while he runs the operations for the buffer production lab at Abbott. Jacob is excited to be playing a part in the fight against COVID. During his time at PLNU, he competed at two national championships as a member of the rugby team, and he looks forward to competing in next year’s students vs alumni homecoming match!
What is the impact you’d like to make on the world?
I don't expect my life to have any huge world impact, rather I hope that the kinds of relationships I form with friends and family might ripple through time long after I am no longer here. I hope that my relationships can be emblematic of forgiveness, graciousness, and generosity.
