Amy Vu, MSM, PA-C

Physician Assistant-Emergency Medicine

Professor Vu is an experienced healthcare professional with over 10 years of clinical, surgical, and leadership experience. She specializes in Emergency Medicine, but has worked in Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Neurology, and Urgent Care settings. In addition, Professor Vu has a strong background and love for orthopedics stemming from a strong Sports Medicine Undergraduate Degree and many years serving as Head Athletic Trainer prior to entering her Masters Program . She has been involved in education and healthcare delivery at both private practices, large community hospitals, as well as academic institutions. Previous leadership roles include working with senior management on quality improvement initiatives, innovative payment models, clinical pathway programs and general managing of the PA/NP group including hiring and scheduling. Professor Vu currently spends most of her time raising her two small children but continues part-time clinical work while teaching.
