Robbie is a graduate of Penn State University obtaining a degree in Health Policy and Administration with a minor in Child Development and Family studies. While at Penn State, Robbie played club water polo and was a part of the Womens Leadership Initiative, a program for faculty identified emerging leaders. For several summers Robbie was an ocean rescue lifeguard in the Outer Banks of North Carolina which she met her husband. She obtained her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Temple University while working as a rehab aide at Temple University Hospital. She has been practicing OT for over 10 years and has worked in hospitals, pediatric clinics, and schools throughout San Diego county before finding her niche in home-based early intervention. Robbie has advanced training in feeding including the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol and sensory-based feeding strategies. She also has training in primitive reflex integration and the DIR model. In her free time, Robbie loves to cook and be out in nature frequently heading to the beach, bay, or the mountains with husband and three kids.
